Charlie has been after me to draft a pattern for a modest girls garment that could be sold. Hannah has been after me to make her a skirt. This is my attempt to do both. It turned out well enough. It’s a bit big in the waist because “someone” measured Hannah’s waist at the top of her hips. She’ll grow into it soon. I got the fabric at a yard sale, 25 cents for several yards of it. There was a tag stapled to the selvedge that indicated it was old fabric. Vintage, we’ll say. Polka dots and circle skirts just seem to go together.
